How do I enter time?
Work Hours Calculator accepts many formats. Just type naturally:
- 8:30 or 08:30 — standard format
- 8h30 — letter format
- 8am or 8:30pm — AM/PM format
- 0830 — military format
- 8.30 — dot format
How does midnight crossing work?
If your end time is earlier than your start time (e.g., start at 22:00, end at 06:00), the app automatically detects that your shift crosses midnight and calculates the correct duration (8 hours in this example).
What is Auto-Pause?
Auto-Pause automatically subtracts break time from your total. For example, if you set a 30-minute auto-pause for shifts over 6 hours, the app will automatically deduct 30 minutes from your total when your session exceeds 6 hours.
How do I remove ads?
Go to Settings → Premium → Remove Ads to make a one-time purchase that permanently removes all advertisements.
Can I restore my purchase on a new device?
Yes! Go to Settings → Premium → Restore Purchases to restore your ad-free purchase on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.
What rounding options are available?
You can round your calculated hours to the nearest:
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 15 minutes (quarter hour)
- 30 minutes (half hour)
- No rounding (exact calculation)
Is my data safe?
Yes. All your data is stored locally on your device with iOS file encryption. We never transmit your work hours to any server. See our Privacy Policy for details.
