Frequently Asked Questions

How do I install my ringtone on iPhone?

  1. Create your ringtone in RingPop
  2. 2. Tap « Install Ringtone » (Share button)
  3. 3. In the share menu, tap « Use as Ringtone »
  4. 4. Choose « Standard Ringtone », « Text Tone », or assign to a contact
  5. 5. Done! Your ringtone is now installed ✓

Why can’t the app install ringtones automatically?

iOS doesn’t allow third-party apps to install ringtones directly into Settings. This is an Apple security restriction, not a limitation of RingPop. The « Use as Ringtone » option in the Share menu is Apple’s official method for installing custom ringtones.

What audio/video formats are supported?

Video: MP4, MOV, M4V, AVI, WebM, Live Photos

Audio: MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, AIFF, FLAC

All formats are converted to M4R (iPhone ringtone format) during export.

Why is my ringtone limited to 30 seconds?

Apple limits ringtones to a maximum of 30 seconds. This is an iOS system limitation. RingPop’s editor helps you select the best 30-second clip from your audio.

How do I remove ads?

Purchase RingPop Pro in the Settings menu to permanently remove all advertisements. This is a one-time purchase that lasts forever.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings > « Restore Purchases ». Your Pro status will be restored if you previously purchased RingPop Pro with the same Apple ID.

Where are my ringtones stored?

All ringtones are stored locally on your device within the app. They are NOT backed up to iCloud. If you delete the app, your ringtones will be deleted.

The app crashed / Something isn’t working

Please try the following:

  1. Force quit and reopen the app
  2. 2. Restart your device
  3. 3. Update to the latest version of RingPop
  4. 4. Update to the latest version of iOS
